Access by Car

Traveling by car is the most comfortable and flexible way to reach the property and explore the area.

From the city of Rethymno, follow the national road toward Spili and then head to Plakias. Once you reach Plakias, follow the signs to Damnoni and continue to Palio Damnoni.
The route is well-marked and smooth for the entire journey.

As you approach your destination, the landscape becomes particularly impressive, with alternating views of mountains and sea, offering a first authentic glimpse of southern Crete.

Access from Airports

Chania Airport (CHQ)
The distance is approximately 90 km, and the journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Heraklion Airport (HER)
The distance is approximately 100 km, and the journey takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

From both airports, renting a car is recommended in order to enjoy your stay comfortably and move easily to nearby beaches and attractions.

Public Transportation

It is possible to reach Plakias or Rethymno by KTEL bus; however, schedules are limited. For greater comfort and flexibility, travel by private vehicle is recommended.
