About Us
In a quiet cove of Southern Crete, where the sea has for centuries been a route of life, work, and communication, we created a place of hospitality that deeply respects the past and responds to the needs of the present.
Our residences are not simply a place to stay. They are a space that carries memory, history, and authenticity — a place where the visitor is invited to experience the rhythm of the area, not merely to visit it.
Today, the old stone structures have been transformed into modern accommodation residences, while preserving their character and simplicity. Their design was developed with respect for the original architecture, the natural landscape, and the history that accompanies them.
The spaces combine:
-
comfort and functionality
-
traditional materials and modern amenities
-
tranquility and simplicity
Our goal is not ostentatious luxury, but a meaningful experience. To offer a space where the visitor can relax, disconnect, and feel truly present.

The History of the Residences
Before acquiring their present form, these buildings served a completely different purpose. In the past, they functioned as warehouses of the Monastery of Preveli, at a time when the sea was the main commercial route of the area.
The monks transported their agricultural products — olive oil, wine, and other goods — by boat, stored them here temporarily, and then loaded them onto ships for commercial distribution and export. The location, protected and strategic, functioned as a natural station between land and sea.
The stone walls, the simple openings, and the plain architecture still bear witness to this role. These are structures built for durability, practicality, and longevity.
Cretan Hospitality
Hospitality for us is not a service — it is a way of life. Deeply rooted in Cretan tradition, it is based on simplicity, warmth, and genuine care for people.
In our residences, Cretan hospitality is expressed through:
-
personal care
-
respect for the visitor
-
the willingness to share our place
We want every visitor to feel welcome, as if staying in a home and not simply in a place of accommodation.
A Past That Continues to Live
The history of the residences is not merely a narration of the past. It is a living part of our identity and accompanies every stay experience.
Here, past and present coexist in harmony. The walls remember, the space breathes, and the visitor becomes part of a story that continues to be written — quietly, authentically, and with respect for the place.
